Professor Chris Woods in conversation with Dr Anushri (Anu) Anandaraja

Aotearoa Centre for Enterprising Women Director Professor Chris Woods, caught up with University of Auckland alumna, Dr Natasha Anushri Anandaraja, founder of Women Together Global – a social enterprise that operates in Malawi to provide peer to peer skills transfer, education, access to land and funding to launch cooperative businesses.

Anu is an educator, paediatrician, and public health practitioner. She earned her medical degree at the University of Auckland, then worked for international non-governmental organizations on child health and disaster relief in India before going to New York City, where she trained in Paediatrics, Global Health and Public Health at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She also trained in Tropical and Travel Medicine at the Gorgas Course in Lima, Peru. Her special interests include international child health and disaster relief.
